5.05.07. Last Chance Corral - OSU Equine Club and Shelter Medicine Club will be taking a visit to an award winning, non-profit horse rescue organization in Athens, OH to witness the efforts put into saving many domestic equines.
5.09.07. Dr. Lenz will be speaking on the very timely and important topic of horse slaughter in the U.S. As chairman of both the AAEP Equine Welfare Committee and the Unwanted Horse Coalition, past president of the AAEP, practitioner, teacher, and businessman, Dr. Lenz has a knowledgeable and well-rounded view of this complicated and sensitive subject.
5.17.07. SVECCS and Equine Club would like to present "Equine Emergencies" by Nicholas Ernst, DVM, MS, Diplomat ACVS. This lecture is about how to approach typical equine emergencies and how they differ from small animal emergencies. Dinner will be provided.
5.26.07. Kentucky Trip - More to come about the tours and events scheduled for this educational visit to Kentucky's equine clinics, hospitals and farms.

3.1.07. Equine Reproduction, presented by Dr. Michelle LeBlanc from Hagyard. Joint meeting with the Therio club.
3.4.07. Limb Ultrasound Lab with presentation from Dr. Genovese. Sign up sheet will be posted on the equine club bulletin board. Lab is limited to 20 people.
FALL 2006
