Amanda Johnson

Amanda is from Aurora, Oregon and attended Oregon State University where she majored in Animal Science. Upon graduation, she came to The Ohio State University to earn a Master of Public Health, specializing in Veterinary Public Health, as well as a DVM. To apply her knowledge of public health, Amanda intends to educate her clients and community in public health while functioning primarily as an equine primary care veterinarian. Additionally, she foresees an active membership with the federal and local emergency disaster response teams. Amanda has 2 Australian Shepherds, 1 cat, and 2 horses, an AQHA and an APHA.

Nancy Adams

Nancy is originally from Lima, Ohio. She attended Miami University, majoring in Theatre. After graduation, she lived and worked in Cincinnati for 12 years, including 7 years in small animal general practice and referral/emergency. Nancy went back to school in 2002, finishing her prerequisites for vet school at the University of Cincinnati. Nancy started riding in 4-H when at the age of 8 and spent many years riding jumpers before switching to eventing. Her favorite extracurricular activity is riding my horse (of course)! She has five bad cats (Jacob, Bailey, Ivan, Tyler and G-Cat) and a cockatiel named Spike. Nancy is considering equine surgery or sport horse medicine.

Erika Keady

Erika Keady was born and raised in southern California, she transplanted to Maine during high school. After graduating from the University of Maine in 2005 with a double bachelor degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences and Biology, Erika moved to Ohio with her husband, Shane. Their small family consists of: two horses, two dogs, and two cats. She plans on entering mixed animal medicine upon graduation.
